slack - I am not counting on any potential increased sales due to the launch of 1x in the US....they might occur, but I dont think they should be in anybody's forecasts 1. PCS lights up 2. Video and game services 3. GPS/Internet services 4. Mobile Intenet and usable e-mail. 5. Video voice telphony 6. The US is by far the market that needs all these facilities more than any other market on earth 7. As of today there are two 1X enabled handsets in the stores that serve one carrier with patchy service areas. As of 15 Jul there will be a dozen or so handsets, PDAs and modems 1X enables servicing two carriers one of whihc covers most of the US. Are you sure we should expect some benefit from 1X in 2H 02 and even the June qtr? Best, L
