In 1947 the UN's partition plan called for both an Israeli and Palestinian state. Israel (I've read the documents) requested all arabs in their would-be state to remain for full and equal citizenship.

As the time grew close for the partition to take effect, hundreds of thousands of Arabs fled from the would-be Israeli state in anticipation of Arab invasion to come. They figured it would be just a few days of war to finish off the Jews and they'd be able to go back.

On the day Israel became a country, all the surrounding Arab nations attacked Israel. Well, guess what, it didn't quite work out the way they planned.

They didn't want a Palestinian state then, they didn't want it when Clinton offered one up a couple years ago, and they don't want one now.

They only want one thing--to push Israel into the sea.

I'm sure if you were able to raise a new generation of Palestinians that has not been trained to want to destroy Israel, you might have a chance with them. But, that will never happen as the Palestinian leadership and the Arab countries will not allow that.

There is only one goal for them.
