What's "hald your house".

It could be a witty way of drawing someone's attention by twisting a cliche. As in, "hold your horses." Or, for example when people say, "That's the way the cooky bounces;" Mixing up the too cliches "that's the way the cooky crumbles" and "that's the way the old ball bounces."

However, in this case the sentence made perfect sense except for a typo (extra word "hald"). I see that all the time on this thread; where we get in such a hurry to say stuff, changing how we want to say it as we go, and not taking time to proof read it, that we make all kinds of mistakes, like run on sentences for example.

The response did not seem stupid. It would take a mimimal amount of common sense, and probably a 4th grade reading ability to understand it though.
