Tony Re,...I've found it amazing listening to the AMD CCs in the last year or so how non-technical Sanders is. He defers all but the simplest tech questions to Hector or Dirk, whoever else is there.<<<<<< I would consider that a good thing. The others know more and have more credibility. You'd think that in 33 years, he would have gotten himself better educated in the technical stuff. After all, he's been #1 all that time and could draw on any and all resources in the company, even make it easy on himself.<<<<<<< Why??? There are others who know more about the technical stuff and can explain it better. Sometimes a person with a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Jerry's job doesn't necessarily need a lot of knowledge about the technical side. Just as Dirks job isn't to do the small stuff, but set the direction for others under him.
