Yes! The trick will be getting these things out the door -- if they are too efficient, folks may have to make them themselves, which is basically my plan (as a hobbyist only). I'm interested in different suspension as well.

As we've seen with fuel cells, anything with interesting performance is impossible to get, publicity and promises in the press to the contrary. The quote I got for a home 10kw fuel cell was $75k, when it was supposed to be in the market by late last year for $5k to $10k.

Entrepreneurs will have to get basic technology and assemble these things, to bypass as much market control as possible. Otherwise, the price will rise to value-based level, rather than cost-based.
