Thanks for the clarification.; Your right about the Seldane/Allegra issue. However, I do think that there is a very strong impression that albuterol does cause strong side effects. A drug that is clearly better than another does not escape notice by doctors, despite what is said on the news. I took the Seldane/Allegra issue to be part of the so called improved enity thing th;ey talked about around 6 months ago. But even if they don't take albuterol off the market (and ;your probably right that they won't for a while), it's likely that the isomer form will do will IMHO.

The impression I get of albuterol is that it is one of the best drugs around for asthma, but those side effects are a real problem. If only we could get those good effects without the side effects. (A paraphrase from a lung doc.).
