(mostly off topic) "Do you love me, or is it my butter coating?"

My older brother says that his favorite food is lettuce,
but finally after i drilled him further he acknowledged
that it made a great blue-cheese-dressing delivery system.

So, is it the popcorn you love, or the melted butter ;o)

For myself i love eating plain popcorn not for the taste
but for the way it "eats" which includes mouth feel
and hand/finger grabbing times. But no need to leave
something that is just good from becoming super great
when melted butter and 10 pounds of salt added creates
something super great.

Now please, do not try this at home unless you are willing
to experiment and accept failures in the beginning.

Rather than use oil to pop that popcorn, use butter only,
and if you do it just right with the correct heat and shaking,
then man o man semi-burned butter'ed popcorn is a taste
you will not believe how good it can be.

semi-burnt butter i think has a name?

I have not visited Gata Bill's Cafe yet to get his views,
but Joan and others here hopefully will give this thread
a day by day account of events if they become important.

Doug, Re: ABX/AU
I heard this rumor from a couple of sources. AU could play some games here and get their stock price to what ever they think it is worth. IMO, the bottom line is AU will not get taken over if they do not want to. AU has sufficient power in South Africa to get the government to nix any takeover. Remember the Franco/GOLD get together plan.
