rob:

Siemens won't be taking out any CDMA license...They've already made their technology choices; they've chosen to bypass 3g...

Followed by three links showing Siemens has some venture capital in three small firms, one being your favorite Flarion, whose CEO, CTO, and primary motivator (according to you) is non other than ex QCOM leader and CDMA co-inventor Viterbi (<g>).

Sorry Rob, you got your "facts" wrong again, this time about Siemens and 3G. Suggest you start here:

siemens-mobile.com

Then download the pdf file on Siemens "Utran" product line, browse around the wireless section of their web site a bit, and you'll get a decent overview of how committed to UMTS/WCDMA they are.

And they won't need a license from QCOM? Please.
