X, there have been a number of occasions in which i disagreed with both your ideas and your treatment of other people on SI. But out of friendship, I kept my disagreement private with you.
When I read what you'd posted on Beanies, I PMed you and told you I was surprised and hurt that you apparently don't have the same sense of a friendship "zone of privacy" that I do. I can't be friends without one, which is why I didn't reply to your last PM and why I disengaged from you over the past few weeks.

There is no dissembling here, just sadness. If you feel the need to make public what you said to me privately, if you feel to need to post the PM I sent you,which detailed why CH's actions were so upsetting to me, go ahead. If you want to make this thread into a courtroom, I can't stop you.

But I won't be here. I just can't stomach this. Especially from someone I called a friend.
