Hewlett-Packard ratings on review for possible downgrade - Moody's NEW YORK, May 02, 2002 (AFX-UK via COMTEX) -- Moody's Investors Service said it has placed the credit ratings of Hewlett-Packard Co on review for a possible downgrade after a Delaware court validated the shareholder vote in favour of Hewlett's merger with Compaq Corp. The review will affect about 6.4 bln usd of debt. Moody's rates Hewlett's senior unsecured debt A2 and its short-term debt Prime-1. The rating agency said the review will focus on the operating performance and outlook of the merged businesses, as well as the integration plans and execution risk which Moody's believes will be significant. cl/djp Copyright 2002.
