I've stated that in matters of opinion, "appeals to authority" are odious to me. In particular I remember commenting on Auntie's penchant for doing so on at least a couple of occasions. I am quite confident in my native intelligence, and have only recently responded with such citations because you denied that there was any scientific basis for my speculation. I simply wished to educate you to the reality that legitimate scientists (Nobel Prize winners among them) have also given serious consideration to this concept. Now that this has been established, I am quite confident leaving such appeals behind until such time that you inspire me to illuminate your ignorance again.

We did begin with Newton's Laws and the Middle East. I 'm afraid that your inability to process metaphors and symbols precluded your comprehension of my thesis. I don't wish to rehash the same issue again--that experience with you was akin to me taking Helen Keller to MOMA. Give your mind a rest.

re: Feyman: intelligence (which he had in abundance) does not equal wisdom--his decoupling of the progress of philosophy to the progress of science is primary evidence of this, IMO.
