Well, that marginal new low on the NDX corresponded to a double bottom on the Naz at 1640. It all seemed unsatisfying to me. But maybe capitulation is only gonna be in selected issues (ORCL, SUNW, WCOM) and not showing up overall? The Dow is consolidating after a two day rally and looks set to doji. Now, will it break up or down? Unemployment numbers dictate? Heck, I can safely say I'm totally confused. I'd rather try a long than short here, but I see no compelling reason to go long. So, thanks to Allan and Shack and others, I have now learned to do nothing. But if someone out there has some clarity for me, I'd sure appreciate it. the freep
