For all the QCOM fans, Sprint PCS made a good move and conducted a 3G tech conference with hundreds of industry leaders.

Note the list of presenters -

"Today's keynotes include Charles Levine, president of Sprint's PCS division, Geoffrey Moore, business strategist and author of Crossing the Chasm, and a joint presentation by Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, president, wireless and Internet group, QUALCOMM, and Oliver Valente, chief technology officer, Sprint's PCS division."

I, for one, think wireless data will be extremely popular, but only after people realize it is available and what it can do. As we speak, there is little demand because most people don't have any idea what it is or what it will be able to do for them.

QCOM long -
