Hi Christine,

The Ozone layer is being destroyed mainly by the Chlorine in Freon. Ozone, which is harmful at the surface, is beneficial in the upper atmosphere, because it blocks UV rays from the sun. This is mostly unrelated to the greenhouse gas problem, which is causing our average global temperature to rise. They are two different problems, although they overlap a bit.

What type of work do you do anyway? Aren't you a nurse or something?
