Its just been a passing thought for me. We needed the build-out on a national level, it was going to cost big bucks (just like Railroads) and I think the Taxpayer would have resisted the cost. This was a way that the build-out would happen without asking the Taxpayers to foot the bill unless the current scenario took place. As it stands we will foot much of the bill when these companies crash and burn but not as much as we would have had they not IPO'ed and raised huge cash from investors. It wasn't a matter of IF we'd pay.....it was a matter of how.
