Falling Three Methods (bearish candlestick pattern)
on the SOXX (completed) today -- thought you all
might be interested, since I've seen C-sticks
discussed here before. (This was pointed out to me
by Westpacific on Zeev's Turnips.)

It's a pretty text book example. Here's a non-scale
rendering of how the "real bodies" (the wide part of
the candlesticks) line up:

[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
538.6
******
******
******
****** 527.24 527.24
****** 525.24 525.24 *****
****** ****** ******
****** ****** ******
****** ****** ******
****** 516.67 516.67 ******
514.77 ****** ******
514.73 ******
******
******
504.05

Note that for a falling three methods, it is only
necessary for the middle three candles' main bodies
to fall within the total ranges of the two outer
candles. This diagram does not show it, but that
is the case here.

Assuming StockCharts is working correctly, (which it
is not entirely at the time of this writing), here is
a chart containing the pattern described above:
