Can you explain what you are referring to?

I'm refering to your post and the post by Petz that you had replied to.

Petz tried to estimated AMD's and Intel's CPU production per amount of fab spaced devoted to CPUs. He also made the statement "Obviously, Intel and AMD have very similar yields. For Intel to claim they have 50% higher yields is patently absurd. " You replied with some additional information to feed in to his estimates the net effect of which would be to make Intel's figures slightly better. My point was that Petz's comment "For Intel to claim they have 50% higher yields is patently absurd. ", would still hold after your modification.

The 50% better yield (than AMD) was a statement made by Intel, not me.

I know. I wasn't attacking you for supposedly making such a statement (or for anything else).
