Most people in the US seem to be worried about an outbreak of Arab-Israeli war in the mideast. That is misplaced concern. The real problem that is appraoching the precipice, imo, is the instability of the House of Saud. The Al Qaeda despise the rulers of Saudi Arabia, and it is clear to see that an overthrow of that regime could happen in the near future and the results would indeed be dire, both for the region and for the West.
