So I don't mind the debt (and no it's not margin or any other high risk debt, rather it's house and car loans). >> Did you know that if you have an IRA or a 401k the govt does not count that as savings? And if you take on personal debt against your house or unsecured personal debt and buy a small business, the debt shows up in govt figs as debt, but in terms of assets, your new business is ignored.
