mish, I'm challenged too, that's why I have to ask a follow up. I'm enclosing this qqq options link: quote.yahoo.com Please let me know if my basic analysis is correct or not. The greatest open interest for May calls is at 33. The greatest open interest for May puts is at 30. So does "max pain" mean we have to close between 30 and 33 so that neither are in the money? Thanks in advance.
