How on earth do these guys even try to justify loaning money to people at 20% interest rates? To Hell with "personal choice"; I frankly have no qualms about legislating that you can't charge over X percent for a loan. You can NEVER get out from under that burden.

I am going to sing a special little song when Household, Americredit, Metris and the rest of the "subprime" lenders go BK. Friggin' unbelievable that our society puts up with these scumbags preying on people that don't know any better and stealing what little chance at wealth building they have.

There's a reason why sub-prime lending didn't exist until recently. No self-respecting member of our "greatest generation" would have even thought to steal money from people like this. Leave it to the self-absorbed, everything-is-relative baby boom generation to invent the sub-prime lending biz. UFB.

Cheers
