Craig thinks we owe him a living. It is not uncommon for people who did not do well at school to fall short of their career aspirations and then look for somebody to blame -- "foreign barbarians" (not to mention gays, liberal politicians, bankers, etc., etc.) -- for their lack of success. Craig does not want the kind of world you describe -- he wants a world where he is among the richest one percent of the world's population because he voted for Pat B. -- and did nothing else. The idea of competing with other people in other countries on the basis of what value you can create is beyond his comprehension IMO.
