wbmw, re: Does it matter? T-BredS at 50mm^2 From the point of view of whether AMD has enough production capacity it seems important. WRT cost of production I think both AMD and Intel are heading to a position where their production capacity exceeds demand so pricing will depend on how much product is offered to a market with limited elasticity relative to CPU price. They could give CPUs away but the systems would only be slightly (10-20%) less expensive. -PT
