JC, sorry but get the correct earnings date right before trying to give advice about buying and selling. The earnings date for ASND is Tuesday the 15th so you've got your days all screwed up on when to get out or jump back in.

Also, there are no upward whisper #'s on ASND. The whisper from Cowen is that he's afraid ASND will miss their quarter as he stated in June due to the delayed 56k rollout. That's why were here in the $40's instead of the $60's before it crashed last month. As ASND was headed over $50 again, Cowen again reiterated his statements about ASND causing it to hit as low as $45 on Wednesday. People are afraid ASND won't meet earnings. All ASND has to do is just meet that consensus estimate and it'll be fine.

It's the shorts that should be covering before earnings. Nobody wants to be short this stock if ASND meets estimates. There was a huge surge in short sales over the past month especially after Cowen's June 11 statement that ASND may miss their earnings. They are concentrated from $44 and under. Last week ASND CEO met with analysts as stated by CNBC's Maria Bartiromo. After that meeting, Morgan Stanley upgraded ASND the next morning and the day after that Merill Lynch had positive comments. And that's The Fact Jack! Those who hold will prosper. Those who sell too early will pay an opportunity cost as ASND sails past $50.
