mepci, RE: The simple formula is Dell is buying these shares at $44 from the market and selling to the kid at $1 from the treasury. This is the rip off that SEC has to put a stop to. Why should the SEC get involved? This is a fair transaction. Michael Dell's absurd pay package directly affects shareholders. And it is fully within shareholders' power not to approve his pay package if they ever come to their senses.
