The notion that we are "at war" is far-fetched. It serves the Republicans' political agenda to be "at war," but, in actuality, we are not "at war." We are retaliating for heinous acts of violence that occurred on 9-11. The term "at war" serves as a smoke-screen for the GOP plan to cut taxes, reward fat cats, increase our national debt and let our children and grandchildren figure out how the debt will be paid. The term "military action" is more accurate ... similar to when we took on the Barbary pirates two centuries ago.
