John, I loved The Fight. And The Thrilla in Manila. The second fight, where Ali grabbed Frazier's ears all night and the ref said nothing, was not as good. Ali was great, but, like Michael Jordan in basketball, he was allowed to get away with rule-breaking unlike any other boxer. I always think that if Ali had bitten an ear the way Tyson did, the other fighter would be disqualified for striking with an illegal lobe. ,g>
