Hi Bob,

On those 10-20% gains. My plan has been to get to a point where 10% gains per annum until retirement age would leave me and my wife a very very nice RRSP without another dime of contribution by age 45, Well I'm gonna miss by just a tad theoretically but for all practical concerns I'm pretty well there. I'm applying the same principle to my kids RESP's re: post secondary education.

Of course I plan to keep contributing but that type of cushioning certainly takes the heat off. There have been a few sacrifices along the way but it appears to be panning out (no pun intended :o)

I don't want to be 55-60 and thinking how am I ever gonna retire or how am I ever gonna send my kids to university. I paid my own way as did my wife (well we both paid her way ;o) but frankly I don't see that as viable anymore.

regards
Kastel
