Don't you think he would have joined in if he was? I mean why stick your neck out and not partake if that's what you like. Frankly, I think he was misguided and was trying to protect the Church but maybe I am being naive. BTW I don't think he would have made it to cardinal if he was one of them. From what they said last nite, its pretty clear who is and isn't in the dioceses, and while they may cover for the a-holes, it doesn't look like they promoted them up the ranks either. ted
