Very valid points, and there is no doubt that there is very little regard for 'regular' stockholders....unfortunately I can't blame DELL alone on this, as all the major tech bellwethers share the exact same mentality, fostered in large part by the investment bankers on the Street. I have acquaintances at Cisco and Oracle who are mad as hell with management for not re-pricing their underwater options; caring about re-building the company or shareholders who also have a stake in their companies is the last thing on their minds. I am sure the outrageous compensation packages of senior executives help in fomenting these feelings among the rank and file!
