Max you read Elder's book "trading for a living" ? Great book. But in it he mentions gurus and how they develop slowly out of obscurity to national prominence. And by the time they are on nationally televised shows their forecasting stops working. Granville, Prechter, Gould the list goes on and on. There is just no way that someone can go on CNBS and say "when this indicator hits such and such the market always rallies" Specially someone like Arms whose theory is so well known. I've written CNBS a couple times about bringing more technicians on the show but they will only feature those who are well known - and those are exactly the ones that are completely worthless.
