Last year we stayed at a place on St. Johns bay in Florida. It had gotten down to 25 and the bay cooled to 48 degrees. At 51 degrees the turtles lose the ability to swim. The residents picked up over 450 turtles and gave them to the marine studies from Tampa. It had been thought only 50 turtles lived in the Bay. They all lived and were released.

No hummingbirds yet. Did see a great blue heron today though.
