Seeing as I'm not the one who has to make (or implement) these decisions, I'm not at all worried ;-)

Wouldn't it make sense for Intel to implement a TOE in a server chipset? Especially single-processor Xeon boards, providing the die size increase isn't too high, of course.

This would give them a whole new range of benchmarks where they would have a decided advantage over AMD and with Hammer (and even now with Athlon), web and database servers (as well as fp-intensive scientific calculations) are where AMD is the strongest.
