Yes that is what cyclical growth companies do.

No, not exactly. You buy cyclical companies when their PE is high at a business trough. And you sell them when their PE is low when business is booming. The problem with the semi equips is that they sold at large PE's or P/S's when business was booming. Now that business has fallen off a cliff and the price is down by 1/3 to 1/2 and they have a huge PE doesn't mean they are cheap.

Growth cyclical. Hmmm. In a year or two that will have proven to be an oxymoron.

Don't get me wrong, I think most of these are great comapnies. But the value of the stock sucks. At these prices they are terrible investments.
