I'm afraid I disagree both with your pilot, and your assertion that damage did not occur to more than the outer ring of the Pentagon. I'm a pilot too,...and an engineer, and a scientist. I've seen many crashes, and have been given data on airplane crashes for 30 years. I've seen what reinforced concrete and steel can do to flimsy aluminum especially when the aluminum has high momentum.
Just who is Geoff Metcalf, and who is the alleged pilot,...who does he work for,...and how much of that article is attributed to him. If you follow the links a little further, you will see Geoff Metcalf is a religious nutcase. The pilot is unknown and probably french. I think what we are seeing is the political posturing and bullchit, similar to what happened in the first and second world wars,...and who had to liberate who?!!!!
Problem is,...we are not in the same room with these photographs. If we were, I think I could clearly show that damage to the fourth ring is clearly evident. I think you have not seen enough attacks on bunkers to realize how little damage is done to the outside of them, even on a direct missile attack. Review the damage done to Iraqi bunkers on high explosive smart bomb attacks. These bombs had a hell of a lot more fire power than the planeload full of jetfuel and people that hit the Pentagon and the Twin Towers. Damage to the outside would be minimal. Damage to the inside,...who knows? You aren't asserting that jetplanes full of people didn't hit the twin towers are you? If you are, then discussion is irrelevant.
I sat in a room and watched the Sept arab attacks on the U.S. for 48 hours continuously and saw the first pictures of each attack. Perhaps they were doctored as we were seeing them,....but I know our press and personal videocams are one hell of a lot freer to show the truth, than where you come from, and what you are viewing now.
Sorry, but I think you are sucking up a big load of BS,...but that's what makes the world go round, and that's why we have bombs and loaded guns in our bedrooms. Thank god for freedom to carry weapons, and screw the dictators. And thank god a democracy is the biggest super power in the world, This has rarely been the case in human history, and our history of repression under dictators and religion is the main reason why we are still so backward and stupid and uneducated.
