I, for one, fully agree with about the first half of your post. This certainly is not a regular business cycle, for the reasons you outlined. And once the media discovers the declining dollar, the spin will be that it is designed to help U.S. outfits versus foreign competition. And by then most of the decline already will have taken place. As for inflation, insurance premiums, property taxes and so-called "sin" taxes are soaring, leaving Joe six-pack with less in his wallet. The result: Will Americans ever learn to live within their means? No. They'll put in on credit cards. PB
