NEW YORK - There was a day not too long ago--perhaps you remember it because it was a great day--that the U.S. dollar was priced exactly right. Since then it has been wrong, the only question being in what direction: Is it too high or "strong" relative to other currencies? Or is it too low? This question bedevils currency traders and occasionally secretaries of the treasury.
