I think it's very LIKELY that someone as painting the tape for you. What was the after hours action like? I can't check right now, but I think this is a very important question. In view of the ongoing carnage, why would one assume THIS TIME is tape painting as opposed to every other time? Not sure what AH has to do with anything. AH futures are amazingly inacurare forcast for next days action, in fact premarket futures have been anything but reliable either. AH action on Friday is totally meaningless as we have two more days in which anything can happen to induce a change. That said, Volume suggests there has been selling into EVERY rally and the safest course of action is to assume this pattern will continue until it does not. As for some of the biggies, MSFT and INTC both fell like a rock into the close, continuing the plummet AH. This is not typically a good sign. M
