I don't have a link, but here's the gist.

Digital photography has cut into silver usage in North America to a certain extent, but worldwide usage for photography is about flat due to pickups in Asia. Silver is also used in prints, which can be made from digital images.

Certainly, as digital cameras come down in price, they will become more attractive to photographers all over the world, so they're probably a long term cap on silver usage for photographic purposes.

No guarantees in this business, FM. I like silver for a lot of other reasons, but read all you can (there's LOTS of web sites with all kinds of opinion and fact) and make your own decision.

Oh, and Caveat Emptor.
