You are just getting a taste of what we just had. The large storm center is through here now and we're having a nice weekend. Sun and maybe 50/60 F tomorrow. About time. Give it a few days. Some better stuff is on the way. April was one of the coldest months on record here, if not the coldest. Think it was a new record, but can't remember for sure. Normally the average daily high starts moving up nicely in early April, here in interior, but this year it just didn't happen. Cabin fever in my house recently hit an all time high since moving here, let me tell ya. Had to spend some profits on a nice evening out, or two.
