Hi Grace, <<I've been in their stores, anyone whose been in their stores would never buy their stock>>

You may be right; I have never been in any Rite-Aid store. I am relying on my pal's stock selection track record - mostly of the bottom feeding variety.

<<They're hopeless in the same way Kmart was>>

Not quite the same. Their USD 4 bil, or was it USD 2 bil (this shows you sometimes my DD can only be described as 'free form'), requires no pay down for 2 years.

<<the management there might have had that near death experience that gives them the proper insight to make some profound changes>>

The team is all new, experienced at turn arounds and buying the shares in USD 1-2 million tranches.

My friend got me into MO at USD 12 effective price (USD 20 less USD 8 option premiums on put/call). I hated cigarettes and I feared US legal process, but then the trade did return 100% in 12 months, including dividends.

Same again on CNC during the same 12 months, saving my year 2000, offsetting all iDotNet/eSlashCom losses due to residual shares left on the table.

But, you are right, RAD is a gamble, and not to be counted on for a once-in-a-life-time bet, unlike gold:0)

Chugs, Jay
