Respectfully, I don't think Shack was "doing battle". His initial question is a fundamental one: how does one value a company with flat or declining (or no) real earnings and with a history of pro forma reporting?

I have no idea where the Nasdaq finds a bottom, but I wouldn't be surprised by sub-1000 at all.
