The recommendations are derived not from "looks and feels", but from results of thorough validation efforts. "The dual problems you talk about probably had to do with Intel's GTL+ bus." The bus, any bus, has very little to do with dual configurations. Hey, even Elmer says that the bus is just a bus, don't you trust him? "We run a bunch of Windows 2000 programs ( Oracle, Visual Studio 6, etc. ) with no issues." You are not paying attention, apparently. As I said, problems may exist in handling legacy hardware. Do not be surprised if a floppy would give you some "no device found" error time to time. - Ali
