AMD - soon to be 800 MHz behind Intel - and AMD folks always used to say - "MHz Sells". It should be noted that Intel is able to pull so far ahead with such ease. There is no competition at the high end. Makes you wonder what they are holding back for lack of pressure from AMD. Intel says they have World Class Yields while shipping millions and ramping frequencies at will for nearly a year now. AMD says they have World Class Yields and can't ship anything. Hmmmm... When are the Droids going to realize they've been lied to? EP
