pgerassi - He says it is needed to prevent any Enrons lurking out there. By Enrons, I assume you are talking about companies with entangled partnership arrangements with other companies such as AMD-FASL, AMD-Saxony, and AMD and UMC subterfuges. Yes, it will be very illustrative for AMD to actually detail what their financial commitments to UMC are - and I applaud Alan Greenspan's attempt to bring clarity to the AMD hidden partnership agendas.
