Well, I came out fine on the Derby. I was at a party where the only bets were for first place, so I put $2 on every horse you named. Only three people bet on the winner, a married couple and me. My wife, with a mind of her own (except for putting $2 on Lusty Latin <g>) placed her bets elsewhere.

Anyhow, I got a payout of $71 on my winning $2. Subtract the $12 for bets and the $6 for a fifth of Kentucky Gentleman that I gave the host, and it leaves a net of $53.

But then I had this enormous wad of $1.00 bills that made it almost impossible to get my wallet in my pocket, and there were a lot of little kids running around, so I started handing out dollar bills to the kids. That's as close as I have ever been to being a Rockefeller.

Anyhow, I had a really good time and don't even have a hangover.
