John, sometime in 1999/2000 ? my brother went a major discount brokerage to buy gold stocks HM & DROOY in his IRA - they suggested it was not a good idea- I suppose they would have suggested some tech wreck funds. For many months the golds declined into Nov. 2000 buy now he has double on HM - now ABX ( I don't like hedgers but he hasn't gotten around to trading out) and a double double -g- 4X on DROOY. mike
