AMAT YoYo Demo —- For those who are familiar with the AMAT StairCase Landing: ---

From time to time I talk about the Landing or Pause that Refreshes when the YoYo Drop becomes -25% (from the usual -10 to -20% during a Bull Market. Later, the Drop worsens to -30% when the stock is about to form Risers above the Landing). During the 1996-97 Bull Market, the Top of the Landing that started May 1997 and ended 1 month later in June was at 72. During the 1998-2000 Bull Market, the Top of the Landing that started Feb 1999 and ended 4 months later in June also was at 72 (just a bit less than 72).

In this post to Gottfried written last January, I mentioned about a Landing that might start in Feb, Mar or Apr of this year (I simply didn't know when although I got a strong feeling it would happen during those times). Of course 72 as the Landing this time is far from reach (they split the stock so people like me won't be crying for 100 anymore!).

Now it seems the Landing this time started Apr 1 at 27.95 (55.90 pre-split) that was confirmed Apr 17 at 27.72 (the 27.95 Top was not broken). Now the Drop is at -22% when the stock hit a low of 21.65 Friday.

Time will tell if we form Risers (or resume the Bull Market) in June --- as we have done the previous 2 Bull Markets.
