Then why not post it to the thread, rather than pinning it on Tiger Paw's turned back?

If I was in that situation my reasons would be (from most important to least)

1 - If anyone reads the post by the person who has me on ignore and then looks at the replies they can see my response. If they see my resposne first and want to know what I was replying to they can follow the discussion back from my post.

2 - Posts "to the thread" here are posts to Laz not really to the thread in terms of who the post is listed as being to.

3 - Its slightly quicker just to reply rather then to click on the hread link and then click on post.
