All right, no need to over emphasize the emails (red flags). The fraud/crime will have taken place on a deeper level and is under investigation by the phantom consortium.
I guess the phantom consortium has no place in a capitalist libertarian's utopia? I did not know that to be a true libertarian one must not posses the human qualities of empathy and sympathy towards the gullible/foolish.
Thank you for educating me that greed must be the predominate character trait in a Libertarian. Oh yeah, I would be allowed to extend my selfishness to family members. I feel so warm and fuzzy now, I am now a capitalist libertarian saint. Forgive me if I have assumed too much, saint may symbolize a paternalist schadenfeud religious image which might be a no-no for true libertarians or guys who took some psychology courses in college in order to deal with the guilt they were feeling about being unethical. (I take it the upset tummy problem has been rectified?)
Anyway, the massive layoffs in the securities industry and the billions lost by the greedy, uneducated, deserves to be cheated, public are part of natures judgment which is above political ideology.
I suppose (me alone, not my phantom followers) that the fatcats grinding through the next 5 - 10 years of chop, slop, low volatility, single digit returns, markets might be their judgment dished out by nature.
I totally agree that all this is just symptomatic of the bubble being popped. I suppose to hope in some way that these investigations will prevent something like this happening again is gullible/foolish on my side. After all if the stock market is too restricted or full disclosure has to mean FULL DISCLOSURE or conflict of interest has to mean CONFLICT OF INTEREST the gullible/foolish masses will trade beenie babies or tulips in order to have the massive wealth shifts that occur throughout history.
I am curious, does a Libertarian capitalist have the right to push the envelopes of ethics more than any other schismite? And would a libertarian Gov. allow us to setup private lotteries to exploit the gullible/foolish? If so I am in.
